Sunday 16th September from 11am to 10pm, Trace Urban brings together 4 of the greatest names in graffiti + a world-renowned guest to create a painting (or wall) in honour of Myles Carter aka "Meo".
Myles "Meo" Carter was a graffiti artist, member of the RTW in New York, who marked his time. Son of Ron Carter, and godson of Miles Davis, hence his first name Myles, he arrived in Paris in the mid-1980s, and vandalized the walls of the capital alongside the most influential artists of the time, for nearly a decade. One of the first freestyle graffiti enthusiasts in Paris, as talented on the street or on trains, on walls or on canvas, he will be one of the pioneers and will make history in French graffiti.
We will be present 5 of the most famous graffiti artists: Janone, Bando, Mode 2, Jayone and Shoe, accompanied by Dee Nasty and DJ Fab at the turntables + guests.
An appointment not to be missed!
Location: Ground Control, 81 rue du charolais 75012 Paris / Metro Gare de Lyon or Reuilly-Diderot.
