Accused of trying to kill Lil Wayne, Birdman expresses himself
The underlying beef between Lil Wayne and Birdman may have been settled in appearance, but in reality, Tunechi's former mentor is now accused of trying to kill him. Supporting evidence?

Did Birdman try to get Lil Wayne killed?

The case dates back to 2015. In April 2015 to be exact. At the time, the deal made headlines: Lil Wayne's tour bus was hit by several shots. The rapper escaped unscathed, but the author of the attack, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, a relative of Young Thug, was quickly sentenced to 20 years in prison. We might have thought that the case was closed, but in the end it wouldn't be. The Cobb County District Attorney has reopened the case since the release of an appeal dated back to the time of the shooting, severely involving Birdman. The businessman is talking to Winfrey, and is even asking him to come and get his money back. Except that a source close to Birdman claims that he never made any reference to the attack on Lil Wayne's bus.

Young Thug also involved?

Even more: the same Birdman refutes the thesis that Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was the author of the shots, even though he is still behind bars. Shortly after testifying on TMZ, Wayne's former relative was going to advertise the Tha Carter V album, Lil Wayne's famous album, which he had actively delayed since 2014. The appeal in question, perhaps challenging Birdman's claimed innocence, has since been posted on YouTube, and is to be listened to above. Of the exhumed phone calls, 8 came from Young Thug's smartphone. He called Winfrey no less than 8 times, and this within 12 minutes of the shooting. It seems that the case is actually far from being closed.
